The Second Reading

When, questioned after the second reading if she would like to read more she said no. I spoke to her mother about having her read daily and asking her questions after she read. I also recommended she find chapter books on subjects that interest DJ. The goal is to get her to read more and expand her attention span during reading. The more she read the better and faster she will get at reading and hopefully at comprehension. I also plan on continuing throughout this summer teacher her strategies to help her improve her comprehension and test taking skills and abilities.
