How do people get into Freelance writing, editing, proofreading, etc.
Anyone here freelance?

You start one job at a time and build a resume that will "sell" you and your work to other buyers. You submit work to people who accept unsolicited submissions, and you submit work to "calls" for specific work. It will take time . . . and in the mean time a steady job is handy.
