I am in search of international newspapers or agencies who indeed are in search for an Indian journalists to edit and rewrite their stories.

it doesnt hurt to start with local papers, first. build a resume. i dont know your background.

    (Forget the jerk who implied that your English is not good enough. I teach ESL and your question is perfectly fine.)

    I think that a good place to start would be to ask your local newspapers if they are in need of translated articles. You might also read articles, write a paragraph summing up the article, then ask your local papers if they would like it translated in full (or portions). There will probably be copywrite issues, that is, permission to print articles from the original source – which can be a problem as many articles have only a 24-48 hour "recency" value to them.

    I have thought of this idea myself, as I think many Spanish people are not informed well enough about the politics and social and economic changes that are occurring in the USA, but didn’t pursue it because not enough people were interested!! Oh, my….

    In Madrid, Spain the local university has a translation business – there should be something like that near you.
