Freelance Writer

I would like a productive answer please.

I have been working as a freelance writer for some time now and am now being hired on terms where i set the rate of pay.

My question is, what is a reasonable amount to charge for freelance writing/editing work? What is probably the average rate? this can be hourly,or per word.

If you calculate an average from previous jobs you were paid for, you should be able to get a reasonable amount to charge. Generally, freelance work is paid per word.
