How would one go about finding a job in freelance translation?
November 122009
I was wondering if there was a site that would allow me to sign up to take on either large or small jobs in translation from Spanish to English or the other way around. I have searched a bit using Google and have only been able to post a job for other freelance translators. Any help will be useful.
the best places to find quality freelance jobs are elance.com and getafreelancer.com. these sites are the best and most trusted among freelancers and employers.

Hi,
In fact there are a couple sites. You sign up for free and only pay comission when you get paid for a project.
Check it out http://www.freelancer-online.com/archives/25
There you will find the link to the job site.
It’s one of the biggest on the market.
I see today there is one project for a spanish translation.
Hurry up;)

Hello. I do a lot of freelance work through oDesk, and I know they always have jobs looking for translators. You might want to check them out, set up a free profile and apply to some of the projects on there.
Best of luck to you!
