I am writing a story, and I need help to know a few places with good references about piracy in Florida, particularly in the St. Augustine area. So far all I have found is two sentences on a 1668 raid where most of the citizens of St. Augustine were killed, but I’m not sure how credible my source is. If anyone could give me links to websites, information themselves, or book and article titles I would greatly appreciate it.

I also need information on ships and how the crew system worked in piracy. Thanks.
