How can I become a freelance writer?

December 312009

I’d like to see what is involved in becoming an internet based freelance writer, part time mostly. All I can find on the internet is a bunch of phony advertisements and get-rich-quick schemes. I want real information, not a bunch of BS.

Write something relevant that people want to read about and try to sell it. You can also blog or start your own website. If you submit your work around everywhere, someone is bound to buy it if it’s good. Make sure you register it with the writer’s guild first.
Hope I helped and good luck.

It’s never always obvious how to start hunting for a job, I was in a bit of a rut for the last month when I was job seeking, until I unearthed the website in the box below that provides sensible instruction. I soon got myself going down the correct route, and in a short while after a couple of interviews I got myself a really good job.

I think this can be an awesome career to get into, but also these guys are good at selling. That’s why you found a bunch of phony advertisements.

My advice would be to start on this site called CopyBlogger. http://www.copyblogger.com/

The guy that runs it is awesome and will take you through the process of where to get work and how to write to make money.

    Hope that’s useful.
