September 292009

no im sorry. i write horror AND erotic fiction. not erotic horror
If you want to make money online, go for freelancing jobs. The Internet has opened up many freelance opportunities, expanding markets and helping to build it into one of the largest economic segments for many economies. You dont need to pay to get the job. Development for freelancing has been especially high for software development, website design, information technology, and business documentation. Freelance practice varies greatly. Some require clients to sign written contracts<!–while others may perform work based on verbal agreements, perhaps enforceable through the very nature of the work. Some freelancers may provide written estimates of work and request deposits from clients. Get more information on the website. You can almost find any freelance job you want.

Payment for freelance work also varies greatly. Freelancers may charge by the day or hour, or on a per-project basis. Instead of a flat rate or fee, some consultants have adopted a value-based pricing method–>based on the perceived value of the results to the client. By custom, payment arrangements may be upfront, percentage upfront, or upon completion. For more complex projects, a contract may set a payment schedule based on milestones or outcomes.

Freelance as in paid to submit erotic or horror shorts? Not so much.
But there market for erotica is huge, and perhaps you should consider publishing in print and getting royalties from your work.
Good Luck.

We’re accepting submissions of horror poetry, but not erotic horror. The market is so flooded with the stuff as to make me gag. Doesn’t anyone write just plain horror anymore? Why does everything involving horror have to involve sex? Can’t I get a good, old-fashion vampire that just wants to kill people, not screw them? Can’t I find a strong female protagonist that isn’t also a whore? Has everyone forgotten how to scare a reader?
Sorry, let me get off my soapbox now. Carry on.
