Don’t Put Promo Links In Network Marketing Forums

April 82010

Don’t ever put links into the body of network marketing forums posts unless you are invited to do so. There is a place to spread your marketing message on the forums and that is the signature line. Occasionally some one will get a conversation started in which they want to see what squeeze pages are working to convert leads or there may be someone who is genuinely looking for a new opportunity and asks a question about different companies that match his or her particular stated interests. This is the only time that it is ok to drop links about your opportunity or product into the body of the posts. Even then, proper etiquette would dictate that you should add a little note to the forum administrator like “Admin: Please let me know if this post is at all outside the forum code of conduct and I’ll remove it myself.” The administrator will appreciate you for showing respect for the anti-spam policies of the forum and other networkers will know that you are a true professional that is concerned with integrity.
