For most of us, the longest relationship of our lives is with our brothers and sisters. Much has been made of sibling bonds, birth order, and how sibling rivalry influences personality and behavior. But, what happens when a sibling dies? Survived By:Siblings of the Lost is an anthology of writing by survivors of sibling loss exploring the profound influence and impact this bereavement has on the lives of those left behind. Christian McEwen said, "A mourner is a person with a story. The pity is how rarely it gets told." This collection offers an opportunity for expression of the struggles and triumphs of siblings as they seek to redefine themselves, their past, and their future.
