Low Intensity Plyometrics
April 152010
Plyometric exercises can be used to build strength and power, and are usually intense. But, these exercises can be done at low intensities without causing any strain on the body that can cause injuries, such as muscle pulls and sprains. Some of the low intensity plyometric exercises that can be done include: squat jumps, split squat jumps, and plyometric sit-ups.
Before any of these exercises are performed, it is very important to warm-up and stretch beforehand. Then once you are done exercising, you then need to do some cool down exercises, followed by stretching to help you prevent any injuries.
