Newly Discovered Hiding Place For Carp

Hey guys and gals! I was out by the lake the other day just walking around, doing a bit of scouting for my next carp fishing trip.
While I was walking around the lake, I found a run off conduit carrying overflow water from a few miles away and dumping it into a canal that joins up with and opens into the river.
There had been some pretty good rains for the past couple of days so the water was rushing pretty well. As I got near, I noticed a familiar hump poking out of the water with a nice fin on top. Then a lot more of them.
I guess it stands to reason, but I had just never seen them there. The carp seemed to be playing in the torrent of water coming out of the conduit! Well, if you like shooting fish in a barrel, that might be a good place to cast your coarse fishing tackle for a few quick catches…
Keep an eye out for any place that as a good jet of water coming in surrounded by mostly still water.
