Keeping In Touch On The Go Gets Easier – Again

I do a lot of traveling, like I’m sure many of you do. One of the challenges I used to have was keeping in touch with my family and friends while I was out and about.
Sure a lot of conveniences were introduced, like internet cafes and laptop computers that I could carry with me.
But it was my experience that the widespread availability of
internet cafes never really became a reliable reality.
And lugging around my laptop was tantamount to a buzz kill on the trip, especially after the security measures grew so draconian.
What has been a real savior in my travels is my 3g mobile because I now have access to almost everything I did on my laptop. I certainly can access Skype and my web based email. So keeping in touch when I’m on the go is not a problem any more! 3G is quickly becoming the world standard and improving its reach almost daily.
