Ski in La Tania, France
April 122010
Peaceful, great value, purpose-built resort with nursery slopes and gentle sledging at village level. Connected towards the Three Valleys location, off-duty parents can easily get in some adequate ski time, but as it’s also under the tree line, on-duty parents could certainly take the kids on activities for example forest strolls.
Nice for: People concerned about altitude. La Tania is one of the lowest resorts at no more than 1,350m high. And at less than 600 miles from Calais, you can drive there from the UK.
Added bonus: Geneva airport has a good nursery – useful within the case of flight delays.
